So many women have told me, after their Boudoir sessions, they wish they had booked their session sooner. Here are the top reasons I hear women giving (and regretting) for not booking sooner.
Let’s face it, hitting send on that inquiry button or on your phone is scary! Almost every women who books their boudoir session has a little anxiety about the unknown. After photographing women for several years I discovered a common theme among them, they all wished they had booked their sessions sooner. Many had the same reasons for their remorse. Here are the top 5 reasons women wish they had booked sooner…
#1 It wasn’t nearly as scary as I thought!
Taking your clothes off in front of a stranger is nerve wracking to say the least! Who wouldn’t be nervous? However, rest assured we go slow and easy thru the process. We start where you are comfortable and end where you are comfortable. Many ladies have come in and while sitting for hair and makeup have said they absolutely will NOT be going nude or even want to attempt implied nude. Which is 100% fine. However, they shock themselves when toward the end of the session feel so inspired, empowered, and alive they just go for it! It is your session and you are in complete control from beginning to end.
#2 You were right, those extra pounds didn’t matter!
We women are way to critical of ourselves. Our bodies are so fierce. They serve us faithfully each and everyday and we need to celebrate them for all they do and have done for us. If you have areas that really bother you, however, we can address that with clothing, posing, and lighting choices. Our whole purpose is to make you feel like the Bad Ass Goddess you are. Will you trust me?

Listen girlfriend…YOU are your longest relationship you will ever have. Aren’t YOU worth taking the photos for? Aren’t YOU worthy of feeling special and spectacular in your own right? I have had sooooo many women who are doing them for themselves. It is such a confidence and self love booster. Trust me when I say you ARE worth it!
#4 I don’t know how to be “sexy”, but you showed me how to be me!
You don’t have to be a professional sex kitten to have a boudoir shoot. All you have to do is be willing to follow instructions. I am there to guide you into and out of poses throughout your shoot. We are a team and I have been a cheerleader for an awful long time so you are in good hands.
#5 I had know idea what to wear. I am so glad you had a client closet and advice!
Who really has a lingerie store in their closet? If you do, can we be friends, please? There are so many things you can “wear” (or not wear) for a boudoir shoot. During our consultations I will help you decide on things to bring with you. You are always welcome to use our client closet. We have sizes XS to 4XL. However, sometimes the sexiest items are things like his tee shirt, those shorts you wear that drive him nutso, a sheet, his work clothes, a white dress shirt, etc etc. The options are limitless. Don’t fret….I know we will find you something to wear…
