Dressing for insecurities

We all have those things about ourselves that we don’t like. We all have hang ups when it comes to the size on a tag or a style of clothing. I am here to tell you NONE of that matters. Throw everything you think you know out the window! We often get women in our studio who tell us they don’t like lingerie. It isn’t that they dislike lingerie. It is that they haven’t found the right cut, or haven’t been brave enough to try on the right item. Women will come in with items that do not fit well because they are hung up on the number on the tag. Those numbers mean nothing. One brand’s size 6 could be another brand’s size 10. Try it ALL on and see what you like! We have items in our client closet that have an L on the tag that are in the medium size and some mediums in the larges because of this.

Try on all the lingerie!

Those parts of our bodies that we don’t like, who doesn’t have them? By trying on the lingerie you will find those problem areas are minimized or may disappear altogether. What the clothing doesn’t take care of we can work with while taking your photos by posing or with lighting. Ultimately you need to choose items that make you feel WONDERFUL. Pieces of clothing that make you feel empowered, sexy, and feminine. If they don’t then put them in the no pile and move on. Don’t get down if the first few pieces are a miss. Not everything is going to be flattering on every body type. We are here to help you thru the process and recommend things that might be out of your normal comfort zone.

Try on that strappy ultra sexy lingerie! You may be surprised at how hot you look in it. Didn’t like how you once looked in a teddy? Well try on another one! Try on different cuts of panties and see which one shows off your asset the best. Try on different bras to see which gives you the sexiest curves. This is the time when you can go all out and be 100% woman. Focus on your needs and what makes you feel amazing. Don’t worry about what anyone else may think or say. If you feel amazing your confidence will radiate from the inside out and will certainly impact the quality of your Boudoir Experience. Your photos will be elevated as a result.
