My favorite things for you to wear to your boudoir session that aren’t lingerie!
One reason I love boudoir photography so much is the amount of creative freedom it allows. We women are sexy, let’s face it. We don’t have to be dressed in satin and lace to steam up the bedroom. Sometimes the simplest items get the best reactions. Now don’t get me wrong, we have an entire client closet filled to the brim with lacey little numbers waiting for you. And damn you look good in them! But here are a few of my favorite everyday items that leave a BIG impression…
That tee shirt or tank top. Ohhhlala. These little numbers pack a punch. They offer so many options for posing (off the shoulder, pulled up from the waist to reveal those sexy panties, WET, tied, you get my drift). They are also super comfortable. Who doesn’t like comfort, especially when you will be posing in some ways you may not have tried before. They also offer a way to disguise areas you may not want to draw attention to without it looking intentional (BONUS).
The oversized sweater! It is sweata weatha after all. Like the tee shirt above there are so many posing options it will blow your mind. Plus it is super cozy which is nice to warm up on since you will be bare before long (wink)..
The white dress shirt. Damn he looks fine in it, but you look even better in it. He will be drooling over these photos for sure. An added bonus, everytime he wears it again he will think of you!
Heels….oh mylanta! Heels do so much for a girl during a boudoir session. They tighten up all those leg muscles and glutes…..muuuuuaaahhhh….perfection. Plus they are just sexy as hell anyway.
The sheet. Now before you go and say no to this one let me tell you so many women say no, but by the end of the session feel so amazing they are shouting a big fat YES!. We can do so much with just a plain ol sheet. You can drape it with you garments peeking out, we can strategically place it so it looks as though you are nude (implied nudity), or you can go for it and strip down and get nakey with the sheet for even more options. Whatever you comfort level the sheet is your friend. Thrust me on this!
So get in that closet girl and get to picking out your wardrobe. I am ready with my camera!
